Linda Rae Giadrosich Daugherty, age 74, a resident of Gulf Shores, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022.
Linda was a graduate of Baldwin County High School in Bay Minette, Alabama. She was a long-time member of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church, Gulf Shores, and a past member of the Legion of Mary. She was a Catechism instructor for 21 years at Our Lady of the Gulf. Linda was a former member of the Gulf Shores Women’s Club, a past member of the Alter Rosary Society, and for many years she was an active member of the South Baldwin Community Theatre in Gulf Shores.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Carl William Daugherty; her devoted daughters, Amy Daugherty (David) Edwards of Orange Beach and Natalie Ann Daugherty of Gulf Shores; grandsons, Christopher Edwards, and Alexander (Cherish) Edwards of Gulf Shores; and great-grandson, Zeke Edwards.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, April 11, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church. The family received friends from 9 a.m. until time of the Mass.
Interment followed at Pine Rest Memorial Park, Foley, at 1:30 p.m.
