Linda Chavers, 75, of Fairhope, passed away on June 21, 2021. Linda was born in Brewton, Ala.
She graduated high school from All Saints Episcopal School in Vicksburg, Miss. She then graduated from Gulf Park College in Gulfport, Miss. prior to attending the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Ala. Mrs. Chavers was a member of Impact 100 and she was very involved in her church, St. Francis at the Point.
She was pre-deceased by her parents, Jean Miller Huxford and Camilla Calvitt Huxford, Jr. and her sister, Sandra Weaver.
Mrs. Chavers is survived by her husband, James Franklin Chavers; daughters, Ashley (John) Callery of Oxford, Miss. and Alice (Graham) Baker of Fairhope; grandchildren, James Clayton Huxford Baker, Noah (Olivia) Adkins Chavers Baker, Alice Camille Baker, Stephen Graham Miller Baker, Porter Calvitt Callery and Miller Elizabeth Callery; sisters, Suzanne Kirby of Brewton, Ala. and Camilla Huxford of Tuscaloosa, Ala.
A Celebration of Mrs. Chavers’ Life was held Thursday, June 24, 2021, at St. Francis at the Point.
