Lighthouse Baptist Church commemorates 25 years

Posted

Twenty-five years ago, Pastor Wesley Enfinger was called to the Rosinton community to minister. He built Lighthouse Baptist Church within the walls and upon the foundation of past churches and congregations with the desire to create a beacon of hope for the surrounding community.

Throughout the years, the church has served Baldwin County through various programs and ministries. Most notably a prison outreach program, nursing home ministry, veteran appreciation program, day care and a small private school. The church also maintains a strong emphasis on missions and currently supports 34 missionaries at home and around the world through their Faith Promise program.

Enfinger believes the church doors should never close in times of need. The doors of Lighthouse Baptist Church have remained open through hurricanes, floods and the COVID-19 pandemic.

To celebrate the silver anniversary, the church community has planned a day of celebration on March 20. The 10 a.m. service will feature a concert by Brother Shawn Drewett who travels the country ministering to churches. Pastor Danny Woodward will deliver the message during the 11 a.m. Woodward will perform a mini concert and former staff member Ley Thompson will deliver the evening message.

The Lighthouse Baptist Church congregation invites everyone in Baldwin County and the surrounding areas to celebrate this milestone occasion and welcome your attendance.

Lighthouse Baptist Church is located at 18055 County Road 64, Loxley.
