Light Up Orange Beach winners announced

Orange Beach residents and businesses hung lights from every surface and pulled out all the stops to win the top honor in the Light Up Orange Beach competition.

The winner of the commercial category is:

Summerchase Condominiums located at 28500 Perdido Beach Blvd. A special shoutout to the staff who made it possible – Mandy Love, Aaron Wheeless, Donald Gulley, Cedric Hall, Nick Chaney and Mikayla Thomas.

The winner of the residential category is:

Ted Melancon and Heidi Webb's home located at 27178 Blue Marlin Drive. Their Grinch themed décor stole top prize.

Honorable mention in the residential category goes to:

  • Robb and Pam Reese and Rick and Audra DeBlieux – north and south corners of Washington Boulevard and First Street.
  • Starlin and Lisa Lanier – 4620 Starboard Lane
  • Shawn Clemons – 26077 Marina Road
  • Brigid Steed – 26282 St. Lucia
  • John and Audrey Shields – 28331 Canal Road
