Emily and her friends plan a sleepover to catch the monster, unaware that Murray was assigned to protect her, not scare her. Directed by Brandi Wittman and based on the book by Angela D. What: Gulf State Park's Little Park Pals program invites families for an educational animal encounter and hands-on activity designed for children ages 4-10. The "Reading with Reptiles" session features a story read by a park naturalist highlighting reptiles found in the park. Afterward, guests can participate in a reptile touch experience and craft. Registration is preferred but not required. A $3 fee is required to enter the campground, but guests staying in cabins or at the campground are exempt. What: Fairhope Public Library will host two back-to-back storytime sessions. The toddler storytime, designed for children ages 18 months to 3 years, features 15-20 minutes of reading, rhymes and music, followed by 20 minutes of play, socialization or crafts and coloring. The big kid storytime, for children ages 4 and older, includes rhymes, music, games and crafts, helping children develop listening skills and a love of reading.
When: Tuesday, April 1; toddler storytime at 10-11 a.m., big kid storytime at 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
