BALDWIN POPS "HOME FOR CHRISTMAS" CONCERT

What: Join the Baldwin Pops Band, conducted by Wayne Fillingim, for a festive holiday concert featuring classic pieces such as "A Christmas Festival" and "Sleigh Ride" by Leroy Anderson. The evening includes audience singalongs and a narration of "'Twas the Night Before Christmas." Santa is expected to make a special appearance. Guests are encouraged to bring a new unwrapped toy for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves Toys for Tots program.

When: Thursday, Dec. 12, 7 p.m.

Where: Daphne Civic Center, Daphne

DECEMBER ECO-ART SERIES AT THE LEARNING CAMPUS

What: A series of creative, eco-friendly art classes. On Dec. 12, create bath salts while exploring the Gulf's salinity and its therapeutic benefits. On Dec. 19, craft coastal-themed pieces using recycled oyster shells. Seasonal materials will be provided at each session. Registration is required at https://forms.gle/iUUE2t91RebEJqq5A.

When: Thursdays in December, 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Price: $15 per class, cash only at the door

MEAHER STATE PARK KIDS FISHING DAY

What: A fun day of fishing for kids 15 and under. Bait will be provided, along with a limited number of extra fishing poles. Participants aged 16 and older must have a freshwater fishing license, which can be purchased online at www.outdooralabama.com. Bring water, snacks, sunglasses, weather-appropriate clothing and a fishing pole if you have one. Meet at the fishing pier. Pre-registration is preferred but not required at https://reserve.alapark.com/register/kids-fishing.

When: Saturday, Dec. 14, 8 a.m.

Where: 5200 Battleship Parkway East, Spanish Fort

Price: Free for children under 12 and overnight guests. $3 park entry fee for visitors over 12

BREAKFAST WITH SANTA

What: Enjoy a hearty breakfast with Santa, including sausage, bacon, eggs, and pancakes. Each child will receive a complimentary photo with Santa.

When: Saturday, Dec. 14, 8 a.m.

Where: Erie Meyer Civic Center, Gulf Shores

CHRISTMAS AT THE CASTLE (EXPLOREUM HOLIDAY EVENT)

What: Experience a magical day of holiday-themed STEM activities and demonstrations, including Liquid Nitrogen experiments and a snowball fight in the Prehistoric Courtyard. Enjoy face painting, treats from Southern Cream Ice Cream and a special viewing of "Frozen" in the PCI Digital Dome Theater at 10 a.m. or 2 p.m. Seating for the movie is limited, and tickets must be purchased in advance at www.exploreum.com. Guests can also visit the newest exhibit, "The Amazing Castle," for imaginative play and problem-solving.

When: Saturday, Dec. 14, 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m.

Where: Exploreum Science Center, 65 Government St., Mobile

Price: Free for members, $12 special event pricing for non-members.

SELFIES WITH SANTA

What: Take holiday photos with Santa in the giraffe pavilion at the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo. Photos are included with regular zoo admission.

When: Saturday, Dec. 14, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Where: 20499 Oak Road E, Gulf Shores

Price: Free

CHRISTMAS MARKET AND FAMILY NIGHT

What: A festive evening with vendors, food trucks and treats. Families can enjoy a showing of "The Polar Express" and visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

When: Sunday, Dec. 15, 4 p.m.-8 p.m.

Where: Mobile Bay Makers Market, 700 S. Mobile Ave., Fairhope

Price: Free

SANTA STORIES AT DAPHNE PUBLIC LIBRARY

What: Santa will read aloud his favorite stories in the library's community room. Children can enjoy cookies, cocoa and a photo with Santa. Registration is required for either the 4 p.m. or 5 p.m. session.

When: Monday, Dec. 16, 4-6 p.m.
