Baldwin County is full of exciting events that offer something for everyone, from nature hikes to creative workshops. This week, families can explore the fascinating world of insects on a guided hike, get crafty with eco-art projects, or enjoy a relaxed, judgment-free zone at a special needs-friendly event. With options like sensory storytime and board game nights, there's plenty of fun to be had.

What: Join Meaher State Park's naturalist for an exciting Insect Hike, where participants will uncover the fascinating world of insects that call the park home. What: Gather with family and friends for a traditional game night featuring classic board and card games. Current games include Catan, Clue, Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit, with many more options available. Participants may bring drinks in containers with secure lids and non-greasy, non-sticky snacks.

What: Join the Learning Campus at Gulf State Park for an exciting Eco-Art Series. Learn to create your own vitamin SEA in this class, where you'll explore the Gulf's salinity and the therapeutic benefits of sea salt while crafting all-natural bath salts. Bath salts combine the restorative benefits of sea salt with the relaxing, soothing effects of organic aromas. This class is open to all ages. Price: $15 per person per class, payable in cash only at the door
What: The Factory Gulf Shores invites the special needs community and their siblings to enjoy an early opening for a judgment-free zone. Participants can jump and climb with a reduced music volume and dimmed lights. $16 covers two hours of fun, and $3 for each pair of jump socks needed.
When: Sunday, March 9, 9-11 a.m.

Price: $16 for 2 hours, $3 for jump socks
What: For children or teens with sensory sensitivities, explore new sensory-friendly activities at the library. Participate in Sensory Story Time on March 11 or Sensory Friendly Art Hour on March 12. Create art in a peaceful, relaxing environment. Register at www.foleylibrary.org.
