HOLIDAY ORNAMENT STORYTIME

What: Join the Thomas B. Norton Public Library staff and Santa's helpers to create the perfect holiday decoration for your tree. Guests will decorate ornaments, sing favorite holiday songs, and enjoy a festive story. For more information, contact the library at (251) 968-1176 or dfincher@gulfshoresal.gov.

When: Thursday, Dec. 19, 10:30 a.m.

GAME NIGHT THURSDAYS

What: Downtown OWA brings themed game nights to families with Game Night Thursdays. Join in for activities like human foosball, giant soccer, outdoor laser tag, human tic-tac-toe and giant twister. Themes vary each night, so bring your best game face and enjoy larger-than-life competitions. Visit OWA Parks & Resort website for more details. Dec. 19 is Classic Game Night at OWA – with trivia, human tic-tac-toe and giant Twister.

MOVIE ON THE BLUFF

What: Celebrate the holidays with the 4th Annual Christmas Movie on The Bluff. This free event includes pictures with Santa from 4-5 p.m., along with complimentary popcorn, cookies and hot cocoa. The movie starts at dark. Donations are appreciated and will benefit the Fairhope Educational Enrichment Foundation. Bring a chair and enjoy the show with friends.

When: Friday, Dec. 20, 4-7 p.m.

Where: Henry George Park, 39 Fairhope Ave., Fairhope

CHRISTMAS MOVIE NIGHT

What: Head to Al's Parkour Park for a festive showing of The Grinch (2018 version). The movie begins at 6 p.m., but guests are encouraged to arrive early for free popcorn and hot chocolate. Be sure to bring a blanket or chair for seating. Parking is available at the Sportsplex trailhead.

When: Friday, Dec. 20, 5:30-8 p.m.

Where: Al's Parkour Park, 4393 William Silvers Pkwy., Orange Beach

Price: Free admission

LULU'S CHRISTMAS COOKIE MOVIE NIGHT

What: Enjoy a cozy evening at LuLu's Gulf Shores with Christmas cookies, popcorn, hot chocolate, and a showing of Frozen. Kids eat free with the purchase of an adult meal. Bring a beach blanket or chairs for seating. Weather permitting, the movie will be shown outdoors on an inflatable screen at LuLu's Beach. If the weather is too cold or rainy, the event will move indoors to the Crazy Sista Corner with heaters and seating available.

When: Saturday, Dec. 21, 6 p.m.

Where: LuLu's Gulf Shores, 200 E. 25th Ave., Gulf Shores

Price: Free admission; food and drink available for purchase

ARCTIC EXPRESS AT WALES WEST RV RESORT & LIGHT RAILWAY

What: Experience the magic of the Arctic Express at Wales West Light Railway. Ride "Dame Ann," an authentic steam locomotive, through dazzling lights and festive scenes to the North Pole. Each child receives a toy, and families take home a holiday photo with Santa. Activities include mini train rides, a hay-less hayride, bounce houses and more. Food and a gift shop are available. Tickets include refreshments; the potato cannon incurs an additional fee. Tickets can be purchased at WalesWest.com or onsite. Contact (251) 232-2322 or message on Facebook for more details.
