Looking for fun ways to keep the little ones entertained?

Baldwin County libraries, gyms and community spaces are offering a variety of programs for children of all ages. From storytime and Saturday morning cartoons to sensory play and open gym sessions, these events give families a chance to learn, play and connect in safe, engaging environments.

Best of all, many of these events are free or low-cost, making it easy for families to enjoy memorable moments without breaking the bank.

ADVENTURE'S IN ABC'S STORYTIME

What: The Gulf Shores Public Library invites children and their caregivers to join a morning of fun, learning and connection during Adventure's in ABC's Storytime. The session may include interactive reading and songs to engage young learners.

When: Thursday, Aug. 28, 10:30 a.m.

Where: Gulf Shores Public Library, 221 W. 19th Ave., Gulf Shores

Price: Free admission

TOT OPEN PLAY

What: Bay City Gymnastics Academy hosts an open play session for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. Activities include gross motor play, sensory stimulation and opportunities for social interaction. All children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, call (251) 621-2112.

When: Friday, Aug. 29, 10-11 a.m.

Where: Bay City Gymnastics Academy, 8534 Well Road, Daphne

Price: $10 for one child, $15 for two or three siblings, $5 for each additional sibling after three. Cash only

SATURDAY MORNING CARTOONS

What: Fairhope Public Library invites children and families to enjoy a fun, calm morning watching cartoons. This week features The Super Mario Bros. Movie (PG) as part of the Saturday Morning Cartoons series.

When: Saturday, Aug. 30, 10 a.m.-noon

Where: Fairhope Public Library, 501 Fairhope Avenue, Fairhope

Price: Free admission

LITTLE EXPLORERS SENSORY PLAY & LEARN

What: Spanish Fort Public Library hosts a new program for preschoolers to explore sensory play. The session is best for children ages 3 and up and children must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited and each child must be registered to participate. For questions, email librarian@spanishfortal.gov. Register at www.spanishfortpubliclibrary.org.

When: Tuesday, Sept. 2, 10 a.m.

STORY TIME WITH WORD BIRD

What: Bay Minette Public Library will host Story Time with Word Bird, a kid-friendly reading session full of fun and interactive storytelling. The event is open to all children and may be held at either the library or the Kid's Park. Follow the library's Facebook page for location updates.

STORYTIME AT PAGE & PALETTE
