Learn about snakes or make a homemade holiday craft. Or join in at Loxley Public Library's Noon Year's Eve Kids Party. Looking to get back in a rhythm after the holidays? Baldwin County offers something for everyone. These events provide opportunities to create lasting memories with loved ones, explore local traditions and try something new.

Many events are free or low-cost, making them accessible for families across the area.

SNAKE ENCOUNTER

What: Visit the Nature Center to learn all about our native snakes and why these creatures are an important part of our environment. There will be a touch opportunity and the option to watch a feeding. Pre-registration is preferred but not required.

When: Friday, Dec. 27, 1-2 p.m.

Where: Gulf State Park Nature Center

HOMEMADE HOLIDAY CRAFTS

What: Join Gulf State Park's Nature Center for a delightful fun and creativity. They are hosting craft time this Saturday and inviting everyone to make festive holiday crafts and heartfelt homemade gifts. Pre-registration and non-refundable $5 fee required.

When: Saturday, Dec. 28, 10-11:30 a.m.

MAKER MONDAYS

What: Teens join the Fairhope Public Library every Monday to make a thing. Materials and projects will vary each week. For Dec. 30, you can make Happy Jars for 2025.

When: Monday, Dec. 30, 5-6 p.m.

Where: Fairhope Public Library, 501 Fairhope Ave., Fairhope

NOON YEAR'S EVE KIDS PARTY

What: Fun for all ages. Join the Loxley Public Library for party activities and a balloon drop at noon.

SUNSHINE STORYTIME
