Whether your child enjoys hands-on crafts, creative play or a little bit of magic, local libraries parks and entertainment venues provide engaging experiences for all ages.

These events offer the perfect chance to spend quality time with family, explore new hobbies and make cherished memories. SUNSHINE STORYTIME AT SUMMERDALE PUBLIC LIBRARY

What: Weekly storytime at the Summerdale Public Library. Kids can join for a morning filled with stories, fun and friends.

When: Thursday, April 17, 10 a.m.

Where: Summerdale Public Library, 202 W. Broadway St., Summerdale

Price: Free

KIDS FREE BUILD

What: Kids can enjoy building anything they can dream up with a wide variety of blocks and toys at the Foley Public Library. Open to ages 5 to 9. Registration is not required, but a guardian must be present for the duration of the event.

When: Saturday, April 19, 2-3 p.m.

Where: Foley Public Library, 319 E. Laurel Ave., Foley

Price: Free

TEEN CRAFTERNOON

What: Teens can join the Fairhope Public Library every Monday for crafts. Materials and projects vary each week. On April 21, participants will create poetry buttons.

When: Monday, April 21, 5-6 p.m.

Where: Fairhope Public Library, 501 Fairhope Ave., Fairhope

Price: Free

TOT OPEN PLAY

What: Bay City Gymnastics Academy will host an open play session for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. Activities will include gross motor play, sensory stimulation and socialization. Adults must supervise children at all times. For more information, call (251) 621-2112.

When: Tuesday, April 22, 10-11 a.m.

Where: Bay City Gymnastics Academy, 8534 Well Road, Daphne

Price: $10 per child; discounts for siblings ($13 for two, $15 for three). Cash only.

STORYTIME WITH MISS PAULA

What: Join Miss Paula for storytime at Page & Palette, where she will read one of her favorite stories. This weekly event is perfect for children and families. More details are available on the Page & Palette Facebook page.
