Joseph Dean Shutt, age 70, a resident of Foley, Alabama, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023.
He was a longtime commercial fisherman and was known as Joe the Shrimp man.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Shutt; parents, John and Delores Shutt; brothers, John Shutt and Hilary Shutt.
He is survived by his daughters, Christina Bethea, Seminole, AL, Linda Taylor, Seminole, AL, April Ewing, Foley, AL; son, Joseph Shutt, Daphne, AL; brothers, Paul Shutt, Bon Secour, AL, Luke Shutt, Bon Secour, AL; sister, Diana Shutt, Foley, AL; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; many other loving relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 PM, March 14, 2023, at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home Chapel, Foley. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
