Joan Fasanello, age 89, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Sunday, Nov. 6, 2022.
Joan was a member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church. She was a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Roslindale, Massachusetts.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband, John Baptist Fasanello, Jr.
Joan is survived by her children, Debra Weafer of Plainville, Massachusetts, Teresa (Clem) Burns of Plainville Massachusetts, John B. (Debra) Fasanello of East Bridgewater, Massachusetts, Paul (Patricia) Fasanello of Plymouth, Massachusetts, Joan (Peter) Broderick of Boston, Massachusetts, Joseph (Paula) Fasanello of Fairhope, Susan (Jason) Newsom of Fairhope, Stephen (Stacy) Fasanello of Mobile; 15 grandchildren, Jospeh Frisoni, Brad Weafer, Andrea Brown, Jaemie Fasanello, Brian Fasanello, Nicholas Fasanello, Rachel Fasanello, Matthew Broderick, Hannah Newsom, Rhianna Fasanello, Tess Fasanello, Michele Fasanello, Max Newsom, Kirsten Fasanello, Chloe Fasanello; seven great-grandchildren; brother, James Powers, sisters, Ellen Parker, Nancy Creed; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Visiting hours were held at the P.E. Murray - F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 2000 Centre St. West Roxbury on Sunday Nov. 13 from 1 - 4 p.m. Funeral was at the funeral home on Monday, Nov. 14 at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church, Roslindale at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment New Calvary Cemetery, Mattapan.
