The wait is over. Jesse’s on The Bay is now open in Fort Morgan.

Jesse’s on The Bay, located near the Shellbanks Community, is the second location for the iconic Jesse’s Restaurant in Magnolia Springs, which opened in 1999. The Fort Morgan location was announced in spring of 2021 and opened to the public April 26.

The waterfront location features two separate dining options for guests. The upstairs offers diners everything they have come to expect from Jesse’s and a similar menu to the Magnolia Springs location. Laurence Agnew, group executive chef, said the menu is more fish-focused with items such as dry-aged fish. The downstairs will offer a casual but upscale raw bar.

During an interview with Agnew in March, he said their main focus was getting the main dining room open first.

Jesse’s on The Bay is open Tuesday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The location is closed Sunday and Monday. According to a post on Jesse’s Restaurant Facebook page, they will soon open for lunch.
