Jerome “Jerry” Earl Rudat, Jr. age 77, a resident of Daphne, AL, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020. He was a decorated U.S. Army Veteran that served as an infantry officer in Vietnam. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon; loved outdoors, fishing, hunting, and was a golden glove boxing champ. He earned his Master’s degree in Business Administration from Indiana University of South Bend. Jerome was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Rudat. His survivors include his daughter, Bridget (Kenneth) Jenkins of Loxley; sons, Chris (Tommi) Rudat of Winfield, MO, Jason (Amanda) Rudat of Gulf Shores, Zack (Christa) Rudat of Fairhope and Aaron (Elisa) Rudat of Daphne; sister, Kathy Rademacher of Gatlinburg, TN; grandchildren, Maxwell, Johnathan, Mary, Jacey Claire, Samantha, Kalista, Karson, Christian, Blair, Ginger, Davis, Sebastian and Gabriel; many other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Jerome’s Life will be held Thursday, December 31, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m.
