Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit with special guest Peter One are making a stop in Mobile Jan. 25 and tickets are on sale now.

Isbell, a North Alabama native sings of the everyday human condition with thoughtful, heartfelt and sometimes brutal honesty. He broke through in 2012 with the release of "Southeastern." His next two albums, "Something More Than Free" in 2015 and "The Nashville Sound" in 2017, won Grammy Awards for Best Americana Album and Best American Roots Song. Isbell's song "Maybe It's Time" was featured in the 2019 reboot of "A Star Is Born."

Peter One is a singer-songwriter from Côte d'Ivoire, currently living and making music in Nashville, Tennessee. In the 1980s he and his then duo partner Jess Sah Bi released their debut LP, "Our Garden Needs Its Flowers" to mass appeal. The act quickly became one of the most popular bands on the Ivory Coast and all of broader West Africa. Due to the violent political unrest and economic hardship, One immigrated to the U.S. in the 1990s to pursue his musical career. He's now finished his first record in over three decades.

Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit with special guest Peter One take the stage at Saenger Theatre Jan. 25, 2023, at 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online ticketmaster.com, or in person at the Saenger Theatre Box Office (6 South Joachim Street, Mobile) or the Mobile Civic Center Box Office (401 Civic Center Drive, Mobile).
