Jacintha “Jackie” Lynn Worrell left this world on June 4, 2022. Best described as a compassionate soul who radiated generosity, Jackie was always caring for others, especially children. She made friends in an instant and always knew how to connect with people on a personal level.

Jackie opened her heart and home to all who needed it, and dearly loved her children, Kristin, Kathleen, Tyler, Amanda, and Hyatt, along with at least 20 foster children through the years that still call her Mom. She took great pride in being Nana to her many grandchildren as well.

Her final years were spent in Elberta, Alabama, where she thrived working at Dollar General and became an indelible part of the community.

Jackie is survived by her children, grandchildren, mother Marbeth, and siblings Beverly, John, Becky, David, Jeffrey, Laurie, Sharee, Linda, and Matthew, as well as a large amount of family, friends, coworkers, and community members that have all been touched by her kindness. May we all be comforted by the memory of her smile.

She is reunited with her beloved husband Michael, father William, sister Krista, and brothers Ron and Jimmy who preceded her in passing. A celebration of Jackie’s life will be held in Tennessee at a future date to be determined.
