Infirmary Health named top employer in Alabama for 3rd consecutive year

For the third year in a row, Infirmary Health has been named one of Alabama's best places to work, securing a spot on Forbes Magazine's 2024 America's Best-in-State Employers list.

The healthcare system, which is the largest non-governmental, not-for-profit provider in Alabama, has once again earned recognition for its dedication to employees and workplace excellence according to a news release.

The Forbes list, developed in collaboration with market research firm Statista, surveyed 70,000 workers across the U.S. employed by companies with more than 500 staff. The rankings considered multiple aspects of the employee experience, from workplace environment and gender pay equity to opportunities for career advancement, employee pride in the company's services, and whether staff would recommend their employer to others.

Mark Nix, President & CEO of Infirmary Health, credited the organization's success to its team.
