ROBERTSDALE — There was a chill in the air to start the day, but otherwise sunny skies greeted festival goers at the Central Baldwin Education Foundation’s Annual Honeybee Festival and 5K held Saturday, Nov. 6 at Honeybee Park in Robertsdale.
After last year’s festival was postponed because of damage to the park caused by Hurricane Sally, this year’s festival included more than 90 vendors, including arts & crafts, food trucks and a kids’ area featuring pony rides, bounce houses, face painting and a variety of games.
Founded in 2008, CBEF serves Robertsdale High School, the South Baldwin Center for Technology, Central Baldwin Middle School and five feeder elementary schools, Elsanor, Rosinton, Loxley, Silverhill and Robertsdale.
