High School State Baseball Championships

Two Baldwin schools advance to state title series

Bayshore Christian defeated Brantley 10-4 on the road in the third and final game of the Class 1A South Semifinals series to clinch the Eagles’ first trip to the Alabama High School Athletic Association state championship series. 2021 is also the first year of eligibility for the playoffs for BSC athletics which previously played in the Alabama Independent School Association.

Bayshore (27-9) advanced to meet Donoho (23-10) in the 1A Baseball Championship series which began Tuesday in Montgomery. The Donoho Falcons out of Anniston defeated Sumiton Christian to advance to the title series. Visit AHSAA.com for updates.

In Class 3A, Bayside Academy (27-7) advanced with a 2-1 series win over Providence Christian. The Admirals will meet Phil Campbell High in the championship series beginning Thursday in Montgomery.
