SILVERHILL, Alabama -- While rain postponed or canceled many Christmas festivities throughout the area, it was clear skies on Friday, Dec. 7 for the annual Silverhill Christmas Parade and Open House. Many of the floats from the canceled Robertsdale Christmas Parade were added to the festivities to make this year’s Silverhill Parade bigger. Children got to visit with Santa and enjoyed hot chocolate and cookies at Town Hall.
