Hennon Lamar Hill, age 92, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022.
Hennon was a member of First Baptist Church of Fairhope and the Johnson Beech Sunday School Class. His professional career was as an agent/owner of an insurance company.
Hennon was preceded in death by his wife, Wathon Joyce Hill, and son Stephen L. Hill. Hennon was one of six children. He is also survived by one sister, Bonnie Edwards of Montgomery and one brother, Glenn Hill of Gulf Shores.
Hennon is survived by his children, Jan Kappel of Fairhope, Tim Hill (Dodie) of Anniston, Lisa Rankin (Tony) of Sherrills Ford, North Carolina; grandchildren, Tripp Kappel (Margaret) of Fairhope, Preston Kappel (Kortney) of North Carolina, Morgan Hill of Wyoming, Cole Hill (Shelby) of Hawaii, Minter Maske (Ethan) of Cusetta, Alabama, Cal Newman of Tuscaloosa, Dylan Butler (Will) of North Carolina, Allie Bumgardner (Cory) of North Carolina, Sarah Rankin (Bobby) of Virginia; Daniel Rankin of North Carolina, Marie Gonzales (Willie) of Florida, Nicole Harper (Aaron) of Huntsville, Ken Keller (Portia) of Fairhope; 19 great-grandchildren; along with many other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday, May 5, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Fairhope. The family received friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
Graveside services were held Thursday, May 5, 2022, at 12:30 p.m. at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Spanish Fort.
