On Sunday, April 10, the Friends of the Fairhope Public Library are celebrating the library with a party at Bay Breeze Café Bar and Grill on Fairhope Avenue.

The Love Our Fairhope Library, Bay Breeze Bash will have delicious food from a variety of Fairhope restaurants, live music from Rebecca Barry and the band, BUST, a cash bar, and door prizes.

Tickets are $50 and are on sale at the Fairhope Public Library Circulation Desk or online at Eventbrite, Love Our Fairhope Library. A limited number of tickets are available, so purchase soon.

"Like many of our local non-profit organizations, the Friends of the Fairhope Public Library have not had a major fundraiser for two years and we are thrilled to be back in the business of inviting folks to come celebrate our award-winning library," said Randal Wright, FoFPL president.

He said the event is "an opportunity for the community to show how much they appreciate and enjoy the programs and services provided by our vital, vibrant library."

Every ticket holder will be entered into the door prize drawings that include a new wheelbarrow filled with gardening tools, plants, accessories created by Old Tyme Feed and Garden, a $500 gift certificate to be used towards a stay at Jubilee Suites, $50 gift cards from Precision Auto Care, Dinner and the Theater with Theater 98 tickets and a gift card to Thyme on Section, a case of imported Italian Champagne, Gift Cards to local Fairhope restaurants: Sage, Provision, Ohana Poke and Honey Baked Ham. Organizers said these are just a few of the door prizes up for grabs.
