Historic Blakeley State Park's Live Music in the Park series continues to welcome live music and families to the park this spring.

Once a month on a selected Friday in March, April and May, the park hosts an evening of family-friendly live performances and has a food truck on hand from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

This Friday, May 12, Harrison McInnis will take the stage to delight those in attendance with his country music. McInnis is the lead singer of the Harrison McInnis Trio and performs as a solo artist. He has been writing and performing original music for over 25 years. Over his career, he has performed at Bayfest, The Saenger Theater in Mobile and Tipitinas in New Orleans to name a few.

McInnis is a well-known local artist whose music pairs his signature soulful rasp with guitar and harmonica riffs. He is currently touring the Southeast to promote his new album "Love Remedy."

Load up the car with your chairs, bug spray and cooler and spend the evening enjoying a concert surrounded by Mother Nature. Better yet, skip packing a picnic and purchase dinner from The Neon Grill food truck. They will be on-site with delicious nachos, quesadillas, loaded fries and desserts.

Admission to Live Music in the Park is $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 6-12; children under 6 are free. Don't forget the bug spray!
