Harold Evans, age 91, a resident of Gulf Shores, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2022.
He retired from B.F. Goodrich as Vice President of Human Resources after 50 years and a veteran of the US Navy. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Gulf Shores for over 30 years, where he served as a deacon, on the personnel committee and was a member of the choir. He was also an avid golfer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Evans.
He is survived by his daughter, Meg Hodge, Gulf Shores, Alabama; grandsons, Kyle VanDierendonck, Gulf Shores, Alabama, and Michael (Rachel) Davis, Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; great-grandchildren, Abigail Davis and Gavin Harper; many other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation was held, Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022, from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church, Gulf Shores.
Funeral Services celebrating the life of Harold Evans followed visitation at 10:00 AM with
Dr. Lawrence Phipps and Dr. Earl Lee officiating.
Interment followed in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
