A three-day event was held by Gulf State Park celebrating the world of sharks. From dissections, scientific presentations and hands-on activities, there was hardly a dull moment on the pier. Guests of all ages had the chance to learn about sharks through the displays, which were featured on a television so everyone in the crowd could see. Rays also got their time in the spotlight with their own dissections and presentations. Guests were able to get an up-close ray experience with several in a touch tank.
