Goodwill Gulf Coast will host its 36th annual Greer's/Goodwill Gulf Coast Golf Tournament on May 15, at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Magnolia Grove.

Sponsored by Greer's Markets, the event will unite local businesses, community leaders and golf enthusiasts for a day on the course while raising funds to support Goodwill's mission of providing education, job training and employment services to individuals in need. Participants will enjoy a competitive round of golf, raffle prizes and a breakfast and lunch, with proceeds benefiting Goodwill Gulf Coast's programs that serve families and individuals across the region.

The tournament began in 1990, founded by Mitt and Sara Boyd in honor of their grandson, David Boyd Cox. Members of the Greer family, including Jack Greer and Bartee Greer, helped establish the event, which has since become one of the organization's most important annual fundraisers.

Greer's Markets continues to serve as the tournament's major sponsor. Thames Batré Insurance, Palmer's Toyota Superstore and Palmer's Airport Hyundai will serve as Hole-in-One Sponsors.
