Mobile Chamber Music Society is offering free admission to all students throughout its 2024-25 concert season thanks to a grant renewal from of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama and The Caring Foundation. The five-concert season begins on Sept. 29 with the Grammy Award-winning Imani Winds and runs until March 16, 2025, concluding with the Arcis Saxophon Quartet.
Mobile Chamber Music is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization that has been bringing world-renown musicians to Mobile and the Gulf Coast since 1961. Concerts are on Sundays at
Laidlaw Performing Arts Center, on the University of South Alabama campus. They begin at 3 p.m.
Any student seeking free admission should arrive at Laidlaw Performing Arts Center prior to 3 p.m. on the day to the concert.
