Girl Scout Troop supports community food pantry in Bay Minette with donation

Posted

Girl Scout Troop 8345 recently embarked on a shopping spree to bolster supplies at the Community Food Pantry housed within the First Presbyterian Church in Bay Minette. Led by troop leader Tara Harville, the troop holds its regular meetings at the church.

The charitable contribution from the troop serves as a love donation aimed at aiding the church's efforts to provide sustenance to those in need within the community. The food pantry, situated at 211 McMillan Avenue, relies on such gestures to support its mission of combating hunger.

Residents interested in accessing the resources provided by the Community Food Pantry are encouraged to follow the First Presbyterian Church on Facebook for updates on distribution dates.
