Tickets are available for the Gulf Shores Garden Club's highly anticipated 32nd Annual Floral Seminar, set for Jan. 22, 2025, at the Erie Meyer Civic Center in Gulf Shores.

The event, centered around the theme of "fantastic flowers," promises to be a vibrant occasion featuring celebrity floral designer Scot Wedgeworth.

Wedgeworth, a renowned floral and event designer known for his bold and edgy rock-and-roll style, will headline the seminar. His work has graced numerous high-profile events, including the Tournament of Roses Parade, where he has served as lead designer for 12 years. His flair for extravagant design has also earned him the opportunity to create events for celebrities such as Dolly Parton, Paula Deen, Elton John and Shania Twain. Wedgeworth was recently featured on the Food Network's reality series "Bama Glama" and has been showcased in Martha Stewart Weddings.

The seminar doors will open at 9:15 a.m., with the program starting promptly at 10 a.m. The seminar will conclude around 1 p.m. and includes lunch, door prizes, raffles and more.

Tickets are $30 each and can be purchased at Island Enclosures (3757 Gulf Shores Pkwy.) or the Thomas B. Norton Public Library (221 W. 19th Ave.) in Gulf Shores. Group tickets for 10 or more are available by calling Charlotte Higgins at (205) 410-3190. The event typically sells out, so be sure to purchase tickets now.

Proceeds from the event will support the Gulf Shores Garden Club's college scholarships and various local horticultural and community projects, helping to enrich the local community.
