The General Galvez Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution held its Annual Banquet Saturday, Jan. 22 at the Gift Horse Restaurant in Foley.

The officers for 2022 were sworn in. The new officers are President Stephen Sexton, Vice-President Dr. James Corum, Treasurer Larry Liles, Secretary Stuart Ritter, Chancellor John Van Zandt, Registrar Tommy Rhodes, Sergeant at Arms John Goss, and Genealogist Michael Glass. George Kendley and Art Dillman were awarded the Bronze Rodger Sherman Medal for their outstanding contributions to the General Galvez Chapter and the Sons of the American Revolution. Michael Glass was awarded the Liberty Medal for over 200 hours of work on genealogical projects on behalf of the Sons of the American Revolution.

Outgoing President Jerry Green received the Past-President Pin for his leadership and service to the General Galvez Chapter.
