Free Bike Rescue event rolls into Bay Minette

Posted

Cyclists in need of a tune-up can take advantage of a free bike repair event on Saturday, Dec. 7, at Light of the City, 1000 Shedrick Hardy Parkway.

From 9 a.m. to noon, volunteers will offer hands-on assistance to help get bicycles back in working order, whether they need minor adjustments or more significant repairs.

The event, designed to support the community and promote safe cycling, is free and open to the public. Organizers encourage anyone with a bicycle in need of some care to stop by.

Light of the City, a community outreach initiative, regularly hosts events aimed at bringing neighbors together and meeting local needs. The bike repair event is one of many ways the group seeks to make a positive impact in the Bay Minette area.
