Forty-six named to All-Baldwin County Baseball team

Fairhope Pirates, Spanish Fort Toros record most selections

Baldwin County Public Schools recently announced the All-County Baseball team and recognized 46 student-athletes.

The Fairhope Pirates led the way with eight selections, followed by the Spanish Fort Toros (7), and Daphne Trojans (6). The Baldwin County Tigers, Elberta Warriors, Foley Lions, Orange Beach Makos and Robertsdale Golden Bears all had five representatives.

Fairhope finished 23-17 overall and 8-1 as Class 7A Area 2 champions. The Pirates’ all-county selections included Brooks Brasfield, Harrison Sparks, Miles Drew Johnson, Ben Moseley, Hollon Brock, Jackson Hatcher, Jacob Conway and Nolan Phillips.

Spanish Fort collected a 26-11 overall record and finished second in Class 6A Area 2 with a 6-3 mark. The Toros’ all-county representatives were Trey Fenderson, Pierce Dutton, Cole Morton, Caden Jacobs, Jack Holley, John Henry Winstead and Matthew Thompson.

Daphne (26-12, 7-2 in 7A-A2) had six Trojans recognized with all-county distinction, including Eli Zielinski, Steele Hall, Jackson Howard, Grae Cole, Jay Davidson and Parker Lomax.

For the Baldwin County Tigers (8-19, 1-7 in 6A-A2), Justin Brunson, Trevor Murphy, Canyon Odom, Owen Boatright and Reece Buck were named to the all-county team.

The Class 5A Area 1 champion Elberta Warriors (14-14, 4-0) were represented on the all-county team by Brandon Williams, Brady Motes, Landen Adams, Roman Lochrico and Blaine White.

Foley (8-22, 3-6 in 7A-A2) had five Lions selected to the All-Baldwin County team, including Trevor Wilkerson, Payton Raulerson, Logan Snowden, Cy Whatlety and Evan Catlin.

Orange Beach finished 16-13 overall and 4-2 as Class 2A Area 1 champions. The Makos’ all-county selections were Parker Rumley, Tre Bryant, Rylan Gober, Hayden Barber and Tripp Carter.

Robertsdale recorded a 12-18 record and 2-7 mark within Class 6A Area 2 and had five Golden Bears honored with all-county distinction. Sage Givens, Kobe Wiggins, Aiden Macks, Ethan Parnell and Ethan Smith rounded out the team’s selections.
