As more recruiting rankings are released, rising juniors Perry Thompson and Ronnie Royal continue to find their names among the top in the country.

The ESPN junior 300 was revealed last week and featured both the Foley wide receiver and Gulf Shores all-purpose back, each of whom was rated a four-star prospect. In the nationwide rankings for the top 300 rising juniors, Thompson checked in at No. 150 and Royal was at No. 234.

Thompson was given a scout grade of 82 and checked in as the 18th-ranked wide receiver prospect in the country, the 74th overall recruit in the southeast region and the eighth overall prospect in the state.

Similarly, Royal was given a scout grade of 81 and was the 27th-ranked athlete recruit in the nation, the 104th overall prospect in the southeast region and the 11th overall recruit in Alabama.

Nationally in the wide receiver rankings, Thompson was the only Alabama native ranked in the 41 receivers listed. In the athlete rankings, Royal was just the third Alabamian ranked out of the 34 listed.

Of the top 16 Alabama recruits, Thompson was the only one to announce his verbal commitment to a college.
