Foley High School accepting donations for landscaping projects

FOLEY - Foley High School is accepting donations to go towards landscaping projects at Foley feeder pattern schools. Approximately 30 years ago, the Foley High School alumni association sponsored the planting of oak trees at the high school. Throughout the years, school clubs and local organizations have continued the tradition of performing various landscaping projects at local schools.
"Foley High School is continuing a long-standing tradition of beautification on campus this winter," said Foley High School Principal Russ Moore. "An additional 16 oak trees (or more) will be planted on the campus so that future generations of Lions have the most attractive campus possible."
The landscaper involved in the project is Ultimate Landscape. Planting each tree will cost $285. If you would like to make a donation towards the project, mail a check to: Attention of secretary Ann Nichols, 1 Pride Place, Foley, AL 36535. You can also contact Nichols at anichols@bcbe.org for information on making a donation online.
