BAY MINETTE, Ala. – The family of the late Adrian Johnson, affectionally known as Goose, presented a check to the Baldwin County High Fishing Tigers from the Fly High Goose Foundation. “Goose” was killed in a tragic car accident on Jan. 19, 2019.  His mother, Amber Johnson, said the Fly High Goose Foundation which she started is near and dear to her heart.

“Our mission is to inspire generations to enrich the lives of youth by demonstrating and supporting activities for those who love the outdoors,” she said. “We give back to the community and surrounding areas to honor and respect the life of one who had a heart for service and helping others. We are active in the community and working hard to support youth that have an interest in the outdoors, even youth that otherwise might not have an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors.”
She said the foundation made the donation to the BCHS fishing team and is looking forward to awarding the first, “Fly High Goose Foundation Top-Prize Award for the Roy Martin Young Angler Tournament set for July 10, 2021.

Johnson added that the foundation also has plans for later this year as they are working closely with Hope Outdoors and even holding a Clay Shoot as another fundraiser (set for) Oct. 10, 2021.
