Local artists and art enthusiasts have a new event to look forward to this fall with the debut of the "Best Local Artist Market," or BLAM!
The first-ever market, a grassroots celebration of local talent, will be held on Nov. 24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Orange Beach Community Center, located at 26893 Canal Road. The indoor venue offers ample parking and promises a day filled with unique, high-quality artwork.
Award-winning artists and event hosts LeeAnn Jones and Cherri Lamar are leading the effort to spotlight a diverse collection of original pieces crafted by some of the region's most talented creators. BLAM! aims to showcase a variety of styles and mediums, giving art lovers and collectors plenty of options to explore.
"This market is for art enthusiasts and collectors who appreciate high-quality, original local art," Jones said. "We have carefully handpicked the participating artists to ensure a variety of styles and mediums, guaranteeing that there is something for every taste."
Jones and Lamar, both widely recognized for their distinct artistic visions and dedication to community events, are excited about this new opportunity to connect the public with exceptional local art. While this is the inaugural event, the duo is already planning a second BLAM! for spring 2025.
