Fairhope High School Senior righthander Carter Antinarella has committed to pitch for Springhill College next year.

Coach Stu Fuller said, "Carter has worked hard in both the classroom as well as on the baseball field. He has a great opportunity to get a Springhill education as well as continue to chase his baseball dreams."

Carter said he chose Springhill "because it is a well-respected small college close to home. I can get a great education and play college baseball in a historic program."

Carter played for the Coastal Baseball 17U Astros last summer.

Springhill Coach Andy McCall said, "The college and baseball program was happy to give Carter the opportunity to further his education while continuing to play baseball at the next level."

On April 1 Antinarella had an Earned Run Average of 1.5 for the 2022 season.
