Two local students received scholarships from the Elks this summer.
Charles Hollis, of Gulf Shores High School, was presented with the Elks National Foundation's Most Valuable Student Scholarship during the Elks state convention in Tuscaloosa.
Tucker Wilson, of Spanish Fort High School, received a $2,500 scholarship from Fairhope Elks Lodge #1879 in Fairhope. Elks member Leeland Immel presented him with the award during a local ceremony.
