Eastern Shore Repertory Theatre (ESRT) is set to bring the beloved musical "Annie JR" to life this fall at the Daphne Civic Center. The production, running from Nov. 8-10, promises to delight audiences of all ages with its heartwarming story, memorable songs, and talented young cast.

"Annie JR" tells the classic tale of a spunky orphan navigating life in 1930s New York City during the Great Depression. Annie, who is determined to find her parents, faces the hardships of growing up in a dismal orphanage under the control of the cruel Miss Hannigan. Her fortunes change when she is invited to spend the holidays with billionaire Oliver Warbucks. With iconic songs like "Tomorrow," "It's the Hard-Knock Life," and "Maybe," the show captures themes of resilience, hope, and the importance of family.

Directed by Erin Langley and featuring choreography by Matthew Kiel, the production is expected to showcase some of the area's brightest young talent. ESRT's fall performances are known for their high-energy presentations and have a history of selling out quickly.

Performances will take place at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, and Saturday, Nov. 9, with a matinee at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 10. Doors will open 30 minutes before showtime for general admission seating. Tickets are available for $20 through ESRT's website or at the door if space allows, though the company advises purchasing in advance to secure seats. All tickets are non-refundable.
