Downtown Foley is offering residents a chance to strike gold this St. Patrick's season with its annual Lucky to Love event. From Feb. 19 to March 17, patrons simply need to make a purchase from any Downtown Foley establishment to enter a drawing for a share of the $1,500 Pot of Gold.

This year, participation is made even easier with a streamlined process - participants can take a photo of their receipt, scan a QR code, and upload it for entry into the drawing. The Pot of Gold is brimming with gift certificates from various Downtown Foley businesses, offering winners a treasure trove of prizes.

Executive Director Darrelyn Dunmore expressed excitement about the event.

"This is an event to bring people downtown during a slower time of the year. It’s fun and if you are going to support a business, why not have the chance to get a little extra? We are so blessed with the support our community gives Downtown Foley - Lucky to Love is just another way to give back." Dunmore said.

The celebration culminates at Southern Shore Eats & Drinks located at 217 N. McKenzie St. on March 22, 2024, from 4-6 p.m., where winners will be drawn. Additionally, the list of winners will be posted on Foley Main Street’s Facebook and Instagram pages by March 26, 4 p.m.
