Friday, Dec. 2, the Douglasville Summer Basketball League made a $400 donation to the Bay Minette Recreation Department to purchase a ball locker that will hold new basketballs.

This equipment will be available for future winter and summer leagues. This year’s winter league opens Tuesday, Dec. 6, at the Douglasville School of Arts and Recreation.

The summer and winter leagues are offered in partnership between the Rec Department and the Douglasville Basketball League.
