David Inscore

David Inscore, 63, passed away on the morning of May 22, 2022, at his home in Robertsdale, Alabama. He was born in Troy, Alabama, on October 18, 1958, and moved to Fairhope, Alabama, in 1968. Lovingly referred to as “Butch” by his family, David was a devoted husband, father, and grandpa. He loved cooking, performing music, tending to his small garden, and cheering on the Crimson Tide. After graduating from Fairhope High School in 1977 and Troy University in the early 1980’s, David had a fulfilling career as a carpenter and contractor.

David is survived by his wife of 35 years, Diane Inscore; sister, Sandy Dillion; son, Benji (Lesley) Riddle; daughters, Aimee Inscore Barron and Alison Inscore; granddaughters, Karleigh, Khloey, Ashlin, Kaycie, and Kellsea; and grand-dogs, MoMo, Dashie, and Raven. He will be dearly missed by his many relatives and friends.

A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. on June 4, 2022, at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope, following visitation (1 p.m.) with family and friends.
