Thanks to producing six goals over four games as only a sophomore, Lacey Daffin won over Gulf Coast Media readers to secure Seacrest Furniture Athlete of the Week honors.

The all-state central midfielder also helped the Daphne Trojans win their pool at the Southern Coast Cup in Foley this weekend. Daffin potted one goal and registered five assists on the week including a Class 7A Area 2 win over Foley (4-0) then tournament wins over Southside-Gadsden (3-1) and Prattville (2-1) as well as a draw with Hartselle (1-1).
