Daphne Allegri Dvorak, age 97, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022.
She graduated from Fairhope High School in 1943 as the Valedictorian.
She worked as a Banker for 79 years (1942-2021) and she never missed a day of work. At the age of 60 she started running in races. Her specialty was marathons (Especially the Marine Corps). One of her shining glories was being an Olympic Torchbearer for the 2001 Salt Lake City Olympics.
Daphne was known as “First Lady of Fairhope” and was given the key to the city.
She will be missed by all.
