An evening of live music, family-friendly fun and plenty of crawfish is set as SEEDS (Supporting Educational Excellence in Daphne Schools) hosts its Crawfish for the Classroom fundraiser.
The event will take place Saturday, March 22, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Daphne City Hall, 1705 Main St.Attendees can enjoy crawfish prepared by MudBug Mafia, live music from '80s and '90s cover band DISCO KISS, children's activities and local brews from Fairhope Brewing Co. The fundraiser benefits the SEEDS Classroom Grant Program, which provides funding for innovative educational projects at Daphne High School, Daphne Middle, W.J. Carroll Intermediate, Daphne East Elementary, Daphne Elementary and Belforest Elementary.
Tickets include access to the event, a hot dog, chips, soft drinks and dessert. Crawfish is included only with the Crawfish Ticket. Beer will be available for $5 with a valid ID.
Presale tickets are available online at https://givebutter.com/CRAWFISH2025. Prices are $25 for a Crawfish Ticket ($35 at the door), $15 for an Event-Only Ticket ($20 at the door) and $10 for Daphne school employees. Children 6 and under can attend for free.
SEEDS, a nonprofit organization, works to enhance educational opportunities in Daphne schools by securing resources through community partnerships. The fundraiser aims to support teachers and students by funding classroom grants that bring creative and innovative learning experiences to local classrooms.
