ROBERTSDALE, Alabama -- The George P. Thames Senior Center hosted a good old-fashioned banana split social on Wednesday, June 28, hosted by Covenant Hospice.
Participants got to try either vanilla or Neapolitan ice cream with a variety of sauces and toppings, played “Name That Tune” and received tickets for other door prizes.
The theme for the event was a Hawaiian Luau. Weekly, daily and monthly events are hosted at the senior center, 22651 E. Chicago St., Robertsdale and at the PZK Civic Center for adults over 50.
