Families in Baldwin County have a new destination for pediatric care with the opening of Coastal Pediatrics of Alabama's clinic in Summerdale.

The milestone was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce on Nov. 13, according to a news release.

The clinic, located at 19283 Highway 59, expands Coastal Pediatrics' mission to provide accessible, personalized and high-quality health care for children. Monica Chadwick, co-owner of Coastal Pediatrics, emphasized the practice's dedication to tailoring care to each child's unique needs.

"At Coastal Pediatrics of Alabama, we strive to recognize each child's individual and unique needs when planning care," Chadwick said in the release. "Our goal is to communicate clearly with patients and parents, ensuring everyone understands a child's condition and care plan, all within a comfortable, welcoming facility."

The clinic offers a wide range of pediatric services, including Well-Child Checks, vaccine schedules, urgent care and sick visits, sports physicals and X-ray services. With its state-of-the-art equipment and a warm, child-friendly atmosphere, the clinic strives to blend modern health care with a small-town, community-focused approach.
