DAPHNE — The wait is nearly over.

Chipotle fans who have driven by the Daphne location on 914 Van Ave. may have noticed the sign has been mounted to the building, and the interior appears complete.

Baldwin County's second Chipotle Mexican Grill location is set to open in a few weeks. An exact opening date should be announced after Christmas.

The location features a Chipotlane, a drive-through pickup lane that allows customers to pick up digital orders without leaving their cars. Digital orders can be placed by downloading the Chipotle Rewards app.

Daphne's Chipotle location brings 25 jobs to the area and is currently hiring. According to Annie Gradinger, Chipotle external communications, the fast-food chain offering Mexican fare, including design-your-own burritos, tacos and bowls, offers benefits for employees that include:
