Charles Calvin Detwiler, a native of Rock Island, Illinois and a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Sunday, Aug. 20, 2023, at the age of 86.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Detwiler; his children, John Detwiler and Dr. Kathleen Detwiler; grandchildren, Colleen Mandell, Bobby Mandell, Karina Detwiler, Jack Detwiler, Mikayla, Detwiler, Mike Detwiler, Evelyn Detwiler, and Kiara Detwiler; brother, Richard R. Detwiler and other relatives and friends.
A family memorial service will be held at a later date in the Chicago area.
